Beach Boys

It's not gay, it's the 60's.

So anyway, been a bit dead around here lately since I've been doing my storybook commission and that's non-uploadable.

I appologise to the 95% of you in the Northern Hemisphere, but it's summer down here and I felt like doing a cover for a summer cd I'm putting together!

Just to let you know, the stereotype that all Australians are surfing beach bums is at least 25% untrue. Sometimes we also throw shrimps on BBQ's

I've been listening to The Beach Boys a lot (again) because they are still the best summer band after 50 years. The above made up songs pretty much describe my impression of what the band is trying to say.

These are ancient characters of mine who embody the feel of nostalgic summer for me, drawn in my 2001-ish style with gigantic eyes and what not.

I'll add some real songs to this cover when I actually print it out ^^
