Duncan Rehab

This is another long overdue commission ^__^ This time for A thousand sorry's that this took so incredibly long ^___^'

For those of you who didn't read my ancient comic Stolen Generation, this would make no sense, so here is a little backstory if you wanted to know:

SG is is a story about the race of marsupials wanting to take revenge for their near extinction at the hands of the placental mammals 200 years ago. Duncan Zeehan (the Kangaroo) was raised believing that all placental mammals were evil and needed to be wiped out. When he was in his early 20's he stole an experimental marsupial war machine and went on a rampage in America. He was eventually captured by the leader of the global mammalian science and defense foundation (Echelon University) and subjected to a psychological experiment that resulted in the loss of one of his eyes and both of his arms.
He somehow escaped and returned home, and was given artificial replacements by a mysterious medical engineer and double agent who turned out later to be Rena Hikariwa (the fox)
So Duncan was torn between his hatred of plancentals and the fact that one saved his life. During his rehabilitation, the two fell in love, but there were still many hurdles to overcome.

This is a scene of Rena helping Duncan get used to the depth perception from his bionic eye and the movement of his bionic arm. He was supposed to reach out for her hand but it looks like he missed. ^__^'

I went back to the original SG drawings of this scene and used a lot of the design elements that existed back then, such as the big shiny eyes and robotic designs. I was originally going to do a full body pic, but then realised it wasn't his legs that were in need of rehab, so I made it a bit more close and personal ^__^
