Fantasy Life

Since Georgie and I have been playing Fantasy Life ad infinitum I figured that for her birthday I would draw a picture of our characters from that game. Here we are teaming up against the most deadly foes, the dreaded carrotys. They are of course actually amongst the least dangerous foes.

In the game G chose the lives of tailor, mage, alchemist, woodcutter and fisherperson, while I chose the lives of mercenary, paladin, blacksmith, miner and cook. By working together we could complete any challenge, yay!

Since I was drawing this in secret, I had to use the streetpass feature in my game to see what G's character was wearing, but unfortunately, after I had done the lineart, she changed her outfit and I had no way of knowing the colours of what I had drawn. I couldn't look on her DS, that would give it away, so I had to guess. I ended up being around 90% incorrect, so if you play the game and wonder why the colours are wrong, blame my non-photographic memory.

But anyway, this was a fun one, with lots of lighting shenanigans and whatnot. And even though our enthusiasm for it is winding down after around a hundred hours of gameplay, Fantasy Life is still a great game I would heavily recommend.
