Finally a boss battle! If you can even call it that. It must have been an easy fight if Hex survived. (Seriously though my heart probably skipped a beat when she came that close to dying) I shouldn't have been worried though because GIRAFARIG'S are IN-FUCKING-SANE.
I mean I guess any psychic type would have carved up in the Rocket base but I was very surprised. I mean I'd used a girafarig once before (Jedi in Platinum) but he sort of died like a punk against Marlene (Maylene?) Race Car nearly instantly became my strongest pokemon.
Anyway, when I introduced the theme of the Rockets, I momentarily forgot that I am a fossil and that probably nobody knows about Roger Ramjet, the old cartoon. I mean I was watching it in re-runs as a kid in the early 90's, not in the 60's when it first aired. But there were too many similarites between the show and Team Rocket for me not to use it. I mean, they are both rocket related, they both involve costumes with 'R's on them, the higher level guys have white costumes, just like Team Rocket, there is a Giovanni-esque mob boss type character in it, there are proton energy pills, and there is a Rocket admin called Proton. There is only one female Rocket Admin and only one female member of the American Eagle Squadron.... the list goes on!
But yeah, the admins are going to be Roger Ramjet characters, if you don't know them, do your history or whatever ^^
