Proton energy pills man...
Okay since this is not only rife with obscure references, it's calling back to references from year-old pages that people have most likely forgotten, so I'll do a little reference recap:
The Team Rocket executives are characters from the 1960's cartoon show Roger Ramjet (which is awesome by the way)
Roger himself is executive proton, mainly because in the show, Roger has proton energy pills that give him the strength of 20 atom bombs for a period of 20 seconds (not that the show particularly illustrates this sort of power) and that's why Race Car is suddenly so powerful after eating one. Zartan stealing it is in response to my own jive wih the show: Ramjet explains the function of the pills at length every time he is about to eat one... giving enemies ample time to steal it from him... but they never try.
Executive Petrel is Dan, a member of The American Eagle Squadron under Roger Ramjet. Ariana is Dee, also a member of the squadron.
The director is General Brassbottom, Ramjet's usual superior officer in the show.
Elm's security system is a reference to that stupid internet 'what's nine plust ten?' thing going around a while ago.
The burglar is supposed to be Bilbo Baggins. (by the way I do NOT like magmars, dispite them being fire types)
The parachute thing is the G.I.Goe thing where characters are always able to excape from planes with a parachute, even if they are obliterated.
