This update seems a little flat to me... ah well, gotta get from A to B somehow. And dear god the TEXT! I blame all the Transformers MTMTE comic's I've been reading. Next page is a gym battle so look forward to single line caveman grunt speech bubbles at most.
I was going to make Colress into Coltrane so he could unlock the secrets of pokemon with experimental Jazz... but it would have been far too confusing with this as the first encounter. It turns out John Coltrane looks very little like Colress. Whooda thunk.
Anyway yes, at least this page is good value if you're going on a word to word basis

"Actual creepy dialogue" -- maybe they were thinking of all the sort of mechanical ones and others that wouldn't have a pulse. Like Magnemite, Ditto, etc. etc.
