Krystal in the forest

This is a pic I had been thinking about for a loooooooong time, but until I had a drawing get together with and I could never be bothered doing it. I wanted to make the trees look all cool but it takes freakin forever to do!
Anyway, the idea behind the pic is this:
Krystal is an ancient reptile, and in the stolen generation universe, that means that she is a hyper evolved species who understand every law of the universe. As such they are not governed by the laws and can live forever, see into the future or past, and basically do whatever they want. When she emerges from a 65 million year soul stasis, Krystal decides to sit in a forest for thirty years and watch it grow around her. This would be the equivalent of a mammal watching a fire or a running stream for a few minutes. Reptiles do not see time as we do. They are not confined by the span of a lifetime, so time itself has little meaning to them.

note: I did not steal that name from starfox adventures. Krystal has been a character of mine for 5 or 6 years and I can prove it if anyone wants! exclaimation mark one exclaimation mark.
