Ozy and Millie

Okay, so I know sculptures of these guys have been made before, I think.

But yesterday...or the night before, I suddenly decided that I must make some sculpey models of my own. I used to read the Ozy and Millie comic strip years ago when I was still at Uni, and have recently gone back and started to read up on everything I had missed.

It's so darned awesome that I needed something tangible in the house to remind me of it.

I think Millie came out a bit better than Ozy, but that happens. I'll just have to keep the diorama appropriately tilted away from him. I even screwed up his expression which is uncharacteristically angry looking from some angles. I'll have to fix that.

I bought a small photo frame to use as the base, and since I managed to somehow not show the whole base, it's a rocky stream with a log over it that they are sitting on.

These models are a little larger than the ones I usually do, at around 12 cm high each. If I eventually do their parents they will be absolutely massive!
