Zoids Legacy

Yeah...too much art today, I know...
I should play more video computer games like the other kids.

Actually, I just realised my irony because this very picture is fanart for a video computerised software game called ZOIDS LEGACY!

ZOIDS LEGACY! would have to be just about my favorite game because it's the only one that I have finished twice. Despite it having an abysmal translation, incomprehensable plot and almost no animation, I still absolutely love it, and I'd play it again too.

I'm a gigantic ZOIDS fan as you may know, and any game where you get to build any zoid, customise it, chuck your favorite tv series character in it and let it beat the mechanical snot out of heaps of awesome pixel enemy zoids has got to be heaven. Turns out it is.

It's a game for the Game Boy Advance and is an RPG that time warps all the ZOIDS TV shows together. You take the role of Zeru Jupit, and recruit your dream team of six warriors to battle across a world of ultimate peril.

This is the first of two pictures I will do about the team I finished the game with. Here are Zeru on his Berserk Fury, Claudia on Command Wolf (yes I beat the goddarn Death Meteor with a command wolf in my party and it didn't even die, hardcore!) and Jack Cisco on a Geno Saurer. The Roid popping speed shooting adrenaline junkie that we all know he is.

I was almost going to have the characters saying some of their awesome fight dialogue like:
'blow up!!', 'look how I run zoids!', 'hit it?' or 'behind now?'
but I might add that in later.

Just as a last note, any game that gets a person to actually draw a zoid with their own...inadequately human hands has got to be freakin' awesome.
